## About the Role

* High school diploma or GED required.
 * Previous dispatching, scheduling, customer service, or administrative experience preferred.
 * Telecommunications, cable, internet, satellite, or home services experience is a plus.
 * Strong organizational and time management skills.
 * Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
 * Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
 * Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and scheduling software.
 * Ability to remain calm under pressure and make sound decisions.
 * Professional, dependable, and customer-focused attitude.

Preferred Experience

 * Dispatching field service technicians
 * Telecommunications industry
 * Cable or fiber installation scheduling
 * GPS routing or route optimization
 * Customer service call center experience
 * CRM or dispatch software

## Description

The Dispatcher is responsible for coordinating the daily schedules of field technicians, communicating with customers regarding appointment times, optimizing technician routes, and ensuring work orders are completed efficiently. This position serves as the communication hub between our customers, technicians, and management team., * Schedule and coordinate daily customer appointments.

 * Contact customers to confirm appointments and provide arrival updates.
 * Maintain communication with customers regarding delays, schedule changes, and technician arrival times.
 * Dispatch and route technicians efficiently to maximize productivity.
 * Monitor technician progress throughout the day.
 * Adjust schedules in real time due to emergencies, cancellations, weather, or workload changes.
 * Communicate with technicians via phone, text, and dispatch software.
 * Ensure work orders are accurate and complete before dispatch.
 * Track appointment status and update internal systems.
 * Assist with resolving scheduling conflicts and customer concerns professionally.
 * Maintain accurate records and documentation.
 * Support management with daily operational reporting as needed.
