## Description

The Director, Digital & Technology leads a team that strategically manages the technology enablement and information security policies for a US Federal Government contractor. This includes establishing and directing the strategic technology goals, policies and procedures for the organization including application stack, product development, cybersecurity, and hardware provisioning., * Collaborates with members of the executive team to identify ways the Digital & Technology team can assist the company in achieving business and financial goals.

 * Identifies emerging technology developments and how they can support efficiency and growth in the business.
 * Ensures that IT and network infrastructure adequately support the company's computing, data processing, and communications needs.
 * Establishes information security policies and develops strategies for developing systems and acquiring software and hardware necessary to meet those needs.
 * Assists as top-level contact for end users in determining information security requirements and/or solutions.
 * Analyze operations to evaluate performance of a company or its staff in meeting objectives or to determine areas of potential cost reduction, program improvement, or policy change.
 * Appoint department heads or managers and assign or delegate responsibilities to them.
 * Prepare budgets for approval, including those for funding or implementation of programs.
 * Manage backup, security and user help systems.
 * Direct or coordinate activities of businesses or departments concerned with production, pricing, sales, or distribution of products.
 * Direct, plan, or implement policies, objectives, or activities of organizations or businesses to ensure continuing operations, to maximize returns on investments, or to increase productivity.
 * Direct or coordinate an organization's financial or budget activities to fund operations, maximize investments, or increase efficiency.
 * Confer with board members, organization officials, or staff members to discuss issues, coordinate activities, or resolve problems.
 * Leads being compliant within software systems, DoD, supply chain management.
