As an Applications Engineer you will own technical delivery for our customers. You will become an expert in Lumafield's scanners and software, and use that expertise to help customers achieve business results with industrial CT scanners. A growing share of our systems are deployed into inline or line-adjacent, where the role is to build automated inspection workflows that let customers get sustained value out of their scanners. That means designing and tuning scan recipes, using agentic coding to build custom tools, fixture design, and translating a manufacturing problem into a repeatable automated solution. This is a broad, hands-on role. You will work cross-functionally with Customer Success, Solution Architects, Product Management, and Engineering, and you will be in front of customers regularly - on the phone, on video, and on their production floor., * Become an expert of Lumafield's scanners across all product lines, including planning and running scans on a wide range of parts, materials, and inspection objectives. * Own post-sale technical execution for customer accounts. * Build automated inspection solutions and workloads for customers, including recipe development and tuning for inline and line-adjacent manufacturing deployments. * Use agentic coding tools to build custom tooling, scripts, and integrations that solve specific customer problems. * Design and iterate on fixturing to get repeatable, production-viable scans. * Run evaluation scans and technical demonstrations that help customers understand what CT can do with their parts. * Work cross-functionally with Customer Success, Solution Architects, Product Management, and Engineering to resolve technical issues and turn recurring customer needs into product improvements. * Document workflows, recipes, and training so customers can build on the work independently. ## Related Videos - [Remote Driving on Plant Grounds with State-of-the-Art Cloud Technologies](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/251-remote-driving-on-plant-grounds-with-state-of-the-art-cloud-technologies) - [XR Demystified: Separating Facts from Fiction in 2024](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1117-xr-demystified-separating-facts-from-fiction-in-2024) - [Modern Data Architectures need Software Engineering](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1030-modern-data-architectures-need-software-engineering) - [Google Gemma and Open Source AI Models - Clement Farabet](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1354-google-gemma-and-open-source-ai-models-clement-farabet) - [Building a framework-independent component library](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1679-building-a-framework-independent-component-library) - [Robots are coming into the wild!
