They are organized, responsive, and capable of balancing day-to-day technical support with longer-term IT planning and maintenance. ## Description We are seeking a dependable and technically skilled IT Support Technician with strong Windows administration skills and working knowledge of SQL databases. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys solving technical problems, maintaining reliable systems, and improving day-to-day technology operations across a growing healthcare organization. This role is focused primarily on IT support, software maintenance, and system administration rather than software development. The successful candidate will perform software updates and minor modifications, maintain our IT infrastructure, manage software licensing, and ensure our employees have reliable, secure technology with minimal downtime. While some software-related work can be performed remotely, this position requires regular on-site availability for hardware installations, equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and technical support. Key ResponsibilitiesSoftware & Systems Support * Perform routine maintenance and minor enhancements to company software. * Make small SQL-based adjustments, queries, and troubleshooting as needed. * Coordinate software installations, upgrades, and updates. * Work with third-party software vendors to resolve application issues. * Ensure software systems remain secure, stable, and up to date. IT Infrastructure & Technical Support * Set up new employee Windows user accounts, passwords, permissions, and access. * Install, configure, and maintain desktop computers, laptops, printers, scanners, and other peripheral devices. * Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues quickly to minimize downtime. * Provide both on-site and remote technical support to staff. * Perform preventive maintenance to reduce interruptions and improve reliability. Asset & License Management * Maintain an accurate inventory of all IT assets, including: * Computers * Monitors * Printers * Scanners * Networking equipment * Other technology assets * Track: * Purchase dates * Equipment age * Hardware specifications * Installed software versions * Warranty information * Manage all software licenses and subscriptions. * Ensure software licenses remain current, compliant, and properly documented.
