Training and or certification invibration analysis, oil analysis/lubrication, thermography, ultrasonic inspection/lubrication and motor circuit evaluation/analysis · Proven experience conducting RCA, FMEA, and condition monitoring activities · Preferred - Experience in an aluminum rolling mill, aluminum processing facility, or heavy industrial manufacturing environment, experience with aluminum hot mill or cold mill operations. Familiarity with aluminum-specific quality and process challenges (surface defects, chatter, gauge control impacts). · Some experience with mill automation, drives, and PLC-controlled systems. · Lean or continuous improvement experience in a manufacturing environment. · Strong knowledge of rotating equipment, hydraulics, lubrication systems, and mechanical drive systems. · Experience with CMMS systems and reliability analysis tools. · Must be hands on and work closely with the engineering and maintenance teams · Must be self-motivated and able to work flexible hours · Must be able to troubleshoot issues and solve problems independently · Excellent computer skills including knowledge of MS Office Products · Need be proficient with AutoCad/CAD Design Software and Project Management Software · Strong problem solving skills · Self-starter who requires little supervision or direction · Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally with operations and maintenance teams. ## Description Research, plans, and designs mechanical products and systems, and directs and coordinates activities involved in fabrication, operation, application, installation, and repair of mechanical products and systems by performing the following duties.
