The ideal candidate will have strong written and verbal communication skills, experience managing social media accounts, and a passion for storytelling and community-building. This role involves managing direct communication with our customers, fans, and retail partners, as well as executing consistent, on-brand messaging across multiple platforms. This position will also provide customer support for another one of our brands. TOTYM is a new plush toy and trading card game brand inspired by mythical creatures and ancient legends, brought to life in a cute, collectible style. We engage directly with our fans through storytelling, community-building, and immersive world design. As a small team, we pride ourselves on creative independence, fast and accurate customer service, high-quality product development, and memorable brand experiences. If you're excited by the idea of helping shape a brand's voice and growing a fanbase from the ground up, we want you on our team! This role requires adaptability, self-direction, and a willingness to jump into new challenges as they arise. You'll have the opportunity to help shape the voice of the TOTYM brand and manage our community platforms. Remote work is not available for this position. Applicants must either be local to the Triangle area of North Carolina or willing to relocate. This is a long-term, in-person position with room for growth. Responsibilities Customer & Community Communication * Respond to customer inquiries via email with clarity and professionalism * Engage with the community through Discord, social media, comments, and messages * Post regular brand updates and progress reports to fans * Assist with outreach and communications with retail stores and small business buyers * Travel to events, conventions, or local shows as a brand representative Social Media & Content Management * Plan, write, and schedule content across social media accounts * Reply to comments and DMs across organic social media and paid Meta ads * Write and edit articles, newsletters, announcements, and other brand communications * Assist with SEO-focused website and blog content, * (Required) We review 100% applications manually, we don't do AI interviews, and we want to understand your experience and opinions.
