The elements of a background include: financial credit check, criminal history of applicant and applicant's immediate family or roommates, personal references, employment and education verifications (which includes official transcript(s)), drug screen and fingerprinting. This information will be utilized to make the final hiring decision. ## Description Under the direct supervision of CJIS Manager I, this position is responsible for the accountability of all payments received with seal and expunge applications to include daily reconciliations and reporting of funds processed. In addition, this position is responsible for the processing of applications from the public related to the seal and expunge process. This position requires extensive research using multiple databases to ensure applications are properly processed with accurate information. This position is also responsible for providing quality service to the public regarding the seal and expunge process as well as state and federal guidelines.
