## About the Role

* Minimum of a Master's Degree in Public Health, or related fields or the equivalent combination of education and work experience. (Please review the Equivalency Chart for additional information.)
 * Minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experience
 * Coursework in advanced biostatistics and applied knowledge of SAS or SPSS.
 * Data management and analytical skills.
 * Must be detail oriented and organized.

Preferred Qualifications

 * Experience with longitudinal data analysis.
 * Familiarity with medical cannabis research.

## Description

The Dornsife School of Public Health is seeking a Data Analyst to perform data management and data analysis for a medical cannabis patient registry study.

The Data Analyst will provide support to Dr. Stephen Lankenau in the Community Health & Prevention Department. As a member of an interdisciplinary team, the Data Analyst will be responsible for the data management of a patient registry study of medical cannabis patients: contributing to instrument design; managing project datasets; conducting data cleaning and data analysis; dissemination of results.

This position is grant-funded; employment is contingent upon the continued availability of those funds.

Essential Functions

 * Assist with design of quantitative tools.
 * Manage inflow of quantitative data (i.e., data sets merge, data cleaning).
 * Analyze quantitative data using probability & inferential statistics.
 * Document project activities for interim and final reports.
 * Other duties as assigned
