## About the Role

* 2+ years of IT support experience preferred.
 * Associate degree or technical certification preferred, but equivalent experience will be considered.
 * Working knowledge of:
 + Windows 10/11
 + Microsoft 365
 + Active Directory (basic user administration)
 + Printers and scanners
 + Basic networking (TCP/IP, Wi-Fi, switches)
 * Strong troubleshooting and customer service skills.
 * Excellent communication and organizational skills.
 * Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and move computer equipment as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience supporting manufacturing or warehouse operations is a plus but not required.

 * Familiarity with barcode scanners, label printers, or production equipment.
 * Experience with Microsoft Intune or endpoint management.

## Description

PDS Optical is seeking a dependable, customer-focused IT Support Technician to provide onsite technical support at our Florida manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for supporting employees with day-to-day technology needs, maintaining computer equipment, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and ensuring reliable operation of IT systems throughout the facility., * Provide first-level technical support for desktop computers, laptops, printers, scanners, and mobile devices.

 * Install, configure, and maintain Windows computers and peripheral equipment.
 * Troubleshoot Microsoft 365, email, printing, networking, and software issues.
 * Create and manage user accounts, passwords, and access permissions.
 * Install software updates and perform routine computer maintenance.
 * Support production workstations and office technology.
 * Maintain inventory of computers and IT equipment.
 * Document support requests and resolutions.
 * Coordinate with outside IT vendors when necessary.
 * Assist with IT projects and equipment deployments.
 * Follow company cybersecurity and data security procedures.
