Civil Engineer or Mechanical Engineering preferred. Other engineering fields (Electrical, Industrial, etc. considered) * 1 to 3 years of applicable experience * Familiar with AutoCAD * Proficient knowledge of Design Software (PLS, FAD tools) * Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook) * In-depth knowledge of NESC, IEEE, and other applicable codes and standards related to transmission line design. * Experience in electrical utility or utility consulting is strongly preferred. * Strong technical writing and verbal communication skills. * What we prefer you bring: * Fundamentals of Engineering exam preferred ## Description If you are in the Charlotte, NC, Roanoke, VA, Marlton, NJ, Pittsburgh, PA, St. Louis, MO, Chicago, IL or Phoenix, AZ area, it would be hybrid position. What you'll be challenged to do: Under general supervision, performs transmission line engineering project designs for a wide variety of project types including utility, industrial, renewable, and developer clients. Performs assignments of limited scope which require the application of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria in carrying out a sequence of related design engineering tasks. Assignments may involve some unusual or difficult problems requiring job knowledge and abilities beyond entry level.
