## Description

As the Senior Director, Data Science and AI/ML, you will be responsible for building the Warehouse AI strategy for GXO and then design and deploy AI effectively across the GXO network of warehouses.

What you'll do on a typical day:

 * Builds the warehouse AI strategy, including Generative AI Language Model and business use cases.

 * Educates broadly across the company on how to build, manage and leverage warehouse AI.
 * Collates GXO's existing use cases of AI for warehouse automation.
 * Partners with the regions to explore current usage and capabilities.
 * Documents GXO AI library for internal and external stakeholders.
 * Builds a global AI framework for warehouse automation.
 * Maintains up-to-date records of AI in warehouse automation.
 * Develops awareness of current AI service delivery models.
 * Identifies future AI use case opportunities for warehouse automation.
 * Partners with key leaders to explore viability of AI use cases.
 * Builds business cases to propose solutions to increase warehouse automation via AI usage.
 * Partners with the Automation Strategy team to define AI development, including translation of AI to P&L.
 * Builds business cases around AI in Automation, conducting financial modeling scenarios.
 * Partners with regional deployment managers to deploy warehouse AI solutions.
 * Provides ad-hoc support as required.
 * Partners with IT AI leaders to maximize use cases across the organization.
 * Builds governance frameworks around AI usage.
 * Develops capabilities across different teams on AI in warehouse automation.
