## About the Role

* 5-7 years of experience in web, digital, or brand design
 * A strong portfolio of highly crafted web and digital work
 * Exceptional typography, layout, hierarchy, and visual design instincts
 * Strong brand instincts and an ability to translate a visual identity into a distinctive digital experience
 * Excellent Figma skills
 * Deep understanding of responsive web design and how designs translate into production
 * Strong interaction and motion design instincts
 * Ability to move quickly on one-off projects while also thinking in systems
 * High attention to detail and a strong bar for craft
 * Ability to independently own projects without significant day-to-day direction
 * Comfort working directly with engineers from early exploration through launch
 * Ability to operate effectively in ambiguity and a fast-moving environment
 * Excitement about owning a space and proactively making it better rather than waiting for tightly defined briefs

Bonus

 * Experience designing digital experiences for highly recognizable consumer brands
 * Experience at a high-growth startup or similarly fast-moving environment
 * Experience building or evolving web design systems and reusable component libraries
 * Strong prototyping skills and experience exploring interaction and motion concepts
 * Experience working closely with front-end engineers and understanding the possibilities and constraints of the web
 * Experience designing editorial, data-driven, or content-heavy digital experiences
 * Experience creating ambitious campaign sites, launches, or interactive brand moments
 * Familiarity with fintech, trading, consumer internet products, sports, culture, or other areas where Kalshi operates
