Business & Domain Knowledge * Deep understanding of B2B, D2C, eCommerce, and digital commercial product ecosystems. * Strong commercial acumen, including familiarity with KPIs such as conversion, revenue, average order value, retention, and customer lifetime value. * Understanding of omnichannel consumer behavior and the role of insights in commercialization decisions. * Ability to connect product investments with business growth, profitability, and operational effectiveness. Systems & Data * Strong understanding of end-to-end commerce architecture, including front-end experiences, platform integrations, and insight/reporting layers. * Experience managing cross-product data dependencies and KPI governance across multiple squads. * Familiarity with integrations among commerce platforms, analytics tools, customer data systems, and reporting layers. * Ability to use quantitative and qualitative signals to prioritize and assess value realization. Language Requirements * English fluency is mandatory. * Spanish is strongly preferred/required depending on portfolio and market scope. * Portuguese is a plus. Experience in digital commerce, omnichannel, or CPG/FMCG environments is strongly preferred. ## Description The Senior Product Owner - Direct Commerce & Commercial Insights is accountable for the strategy, prioritization, value realization, and evolutive roadmap of a broader product portfolio covering B2B, D2C, eCommerce, and Insights squads. The role owns a medium-to-high complexity domain with multiple interdependencies, senior stakeholders, and significant commercial impact. The Senior Product Owner ensures a coherent product direction across squads and maximizes value through strong prioritization, roadmap integration, and portfolio-level governance. Context of the Area The Direct Commerce & Commercial Insights team is responsible for digital products that support direct and indirect commercial interactions, digital selling models, transactional journeys, and insight generation across the commercial ecosystem. Its scope includes B2B, D2C, eCommerce, and insights products. The Senior Product Owner is expected to align multiple roadmaps, connect business priorities with product investments, and ensure that platforms, data, and user journeys work as a coherent product ecosystem. Key Responsibilities Product & Agile Delivery Own the product vision and expected value of the broader Direct Commerce & Commercial Insights portfolio. * Lead prioritization across multiple squads, ensuring backlog decisions reflect strategic business priorities, dependencies, risk, and delivery capacity. * Balance discovery, delivery, and optimization across B2B, D2C, eCommerce, and insights products. * Make portfolio-level trade-offs on scope, timing, complexity, and investment to maximize commercial impact. * Drive consistency in product management practices across squads and support the development of Product Owners/Product Analysts when relevant. Road Mapping & Solution Design * Define and orchestrate the multi-squad roadmap for the domain, ensuring alignment with growth priorities, channel strategies, and platform constraints. * Sequence work across squads to account for cross-product dependencies, value realization, and business timing. * Evaluate platform and solution options in partnership with technical teams, balancing scalability, cost, speed-to-value, and sustainability. * Maintain a clear portfolio narrative connecting investments, business outcomes, and product evolution. Business & Stakeholder Interaction * Act as the senior product counterpart for business, commercial, digital, data, and IT stakeholders across the product group. * Build alignment with senior stakeholders on priorities, trade-offs, roadmap direction, and outcome expectations. * Communicate portfolio status, risks, dependencies, and strategic choices in a clear and executive-ready manner. * Foster collaboration across squads to avoid duplication, improve sequencing, and ensure product ecosystem coherence. Planning Processes * Own product strategy and prioritization for digital B2B commercial capabilities. * Guide evolution of D2C and eCommerce journeys, including transactional and insight-related needs. * Ensure insights and reporting capabilities support decision-making across the commercial product scope. * Align portfolio planning with commercial priorities, platform sustainability, and cross-team execution realities. Systems, Data & Quality * Ensure the portfolio maintains high standards for platform reliability, data consistency, delivery quality, and operational continuity. * Oversee issue prioritization and escalation when defects, dependencies, or operational risks have material business impact. * Drive cross-squad governance of KPIs, reporting standards, and product performance indicators. * Ensure that commerce platforms and insights products remain aligned on business definitions, metrics, and value realization measurement. Continuous Improvement * Drive improvement in product governance, prioritization discipline, roadmap clarity, and squad collaboration. * Promote experimentation, KPI-driven reviews, phased rollout strategies, and post-launch learning loops. * Standardize reusable practices where possible while preserving flexibility for market-specific needs. * Use portfolio outcomes such as adoption, revenue support, conversion, service performance, and stakeholder satisfaction to guide continuous improvement. This role is considered a "hybrid" position that allows for flexible work, meaning it is a role where collaboration with key stakeholders in Danone Hubs (White Plains, NY or Louisville, CO) occurs.
