## About the Role

This requisition may be filled at either a Software Engineer - Level 2 or a Principal Software Engineer - Level 3.

Basic Qualifications (Software Engineer - Level 2 or 3):

 * Software Engineer Level 2: Bachelor's Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline from an accredited university and 2 years of related work experience, or a Master's Degree in STEM and 0-2 years of related work experience.
 * Principal Software Engineer Level 3: Bachelor's Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline from an accredited university and 5 years of related work experience, or a Master's Degree in STEM and 3 years of related work experience, or a PhD. and 1 year of related work experience.
 * Applicants must have a current active in-scope U.S. Government issued Secret security clearance at the time of application which is required to start.

Preferred Qualifications:

 * Containerization tool experience (Kubernetes, OpenShift, Docker products, Podman, etc)
 * Configuration Management Tools (Git etc.)
 * CI/CD experience (Jenkins etc.)
 * Agile development exposure
 * C++ templating

## Description

As a Software Engineer or Principal Software Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, development, documentation, testing, deployment, and debugging of software applications. This includes researching, identifying, and implementing solutions to complex, multi-disciplinary software problems. It also includes close collaboration with fellow software engineers, algorithms developers, hardware engineers, systems engineers, program managers and technical leadership., * Kubernetes/K3s

 * C++ v20+ Python
 * Linux
 * OOP Experience
 * CI/CD Pipeline Maintenance/Improvements
 * Up to 10% travel (only if needed)
