## About the Role

* Minimum 10 years of software development experience
 * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent substitution)
 * Expert-level proficiency in multiple programming languages (Python, Java, Go, etc.)
 * Deep understanding of microservices, containerization, and orchestration
 * Extensive experience with DevSecOps practices and toolchains
 * Strong knowledge of software design patterns and architectural principles
 * Experience with distributed systems and message queuing (Kafka, NATS, RabbitMQ)
 * Proficiency in database technologies (PostgreSQL, Redis, Elasticsearch)
 * Demonstrated ability to lead technical implementations
 * Active TS/SCI clearance with ability to obtain CI Polygraph
 * Must be U.S. citizen
 * Must be located in NCR or San Antonio area

* Lead design and implementation of complex software features
 * Architect technical solutions that align with system design principles
 * Mentor and guide less experienced engineers
 * Conduct thorough code reviews ensuring quality and security standards
 * Implement and optimize DevSecOps automation
 * Design and develop scalable microservices architectures
 * Lead technical discussions and architecture decisions
 * Troubleshoot complex technical issues across the stack
 * Participate in and contribute to SAFe Program-level activities
 * Support third-party code reviews and security assessments
