## About the Role

* Minimum 7 years of software development experience
 * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent substitution)
 * Proficiency in one or more languages: Python, Java, Go, JavaScript/TypeScript
 * Experience with microservices architecture and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
 * Knowledge of DevSecOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
 * Experience with test-driven development (TDD) and automated testing
 * Familiarity with Git version control and collaborative development
 * Understanding of RESTful API design and implementation
 * Experience with Linux/Unix environments
 * Active TS/SCI clearance with ability to obtain CI Polygraph
 * Must be U.S. citizen
 * Must be located in NCR or San Antonio area

## Description

Nightwing is seeking Software Engineer that supports the design, development, testing, and deployment of complex software systems for mission-critical offensive cyber operations. This position applies software engineering principles and SAFe Agile methodologies to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performance applications. The engineer works within cross-functional teams to implement features that meet technical, functional, and security requirements throughout the software lifecycle., * Develop software features according to user stories and acceptance criteria

 * Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
 * Implement automated unit and integration tests (80% coverage minimum)
 * Participate in code reviews and pair programming
 * Support DevSecOps pipeline implementation and maintenance
 * Develop microservices using containerization technologies
 * Integrate with Government platform services and APIs
 * Participate in all team-level SAFe ceremonies
 * Support troubleshooting and production issue resolution
 * Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge transfer
