## About the Role

Ideal candidates will have a balanced engineering background across backend systems and data infrastructure, with the ability to contribute beyond analytics-focused workflows. The client values builders who can work across the stack, move quickly, and design pragmatic technical solutions., * 2+ years of experience developing and maintaining production-grade data workflows or backend systems

 * MUST HAVE 1+ year of experience at a startup
 * Strong programming experience with Python and solid SQL skills
 * Experience building scalable, reliable systems that process and move large volumes of data
 * Familiarity with orchestration and transformation tools such as Airflow, Dagster, DBT, or equivalent technologies
 * Prior experience shipping software products or backend services in a production environment
 * Comfortable operating in startup or high-growth environments with evolving priorities and broad ownership

Preferred:

 * Exposure to financial platforms, transaction data, accounting systems, or related domains is a plus
 * Experience with ClaudeCode
