Education and Certifications: * EDR and security analyst training is recommended for individuals beginning their cybersecurity careers to demonstrate knowledge of baseline security skills. * Network security certifications are preferred, including: + Fortinet Certified Professional in Security Operations (FCP) + Certified Network Defender (CND) + Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) + GIAC Security Essentials Certification (GSEC) PHYSICAL DEMANDS This position requires the ability to handle, move, and carry computer and related technical equipment. ## Description The EDR Security Analyst assists the IT team in protecting the company's digital assets from unauthorized access and cybersecurity threats. This position monitors and analyzes security activity, performs security checks, evaluates threat intelligence, and uses Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) tools to proactively identify and investigate potential threats. The EDR Security Analyst works closely with the incident response team, threat intelligence analysts, IT staff, leadership, and other cybersecurity stakeholders. This position requires strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills and reports to the IT Director., Include the following.
