## About the Role

* Minimum of 3 years of experience in electrical design, mechanical design, or related discipline. A combination of experience and/or education will be taken into consideration.
 * Spoken and written fluency in the Spanish and English languages is required.
 * Spoken and written fluency in Portuguese is preferred.
 * AutoCAD required.
 * Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office products including Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.
 * Experience with ABB and Fanuc robots preferred.
 * Experience with AB control platforms preferred.
 * Strong organizational and planning skills.
 * Strong problem-solving and attention to detail.
 * Self-starter with a strong work ethic.
 * Forward-thinking
 * Strong networking capabilities to foster the ability to build and maintain long-term relationships.
 * Strong customer service orientation.
 * Applicants must be capable of working under tight time constraints in a high-volume environment with multiple priorities.

## Description

We are currently seeking an Applications Engineer; this is a remote position located in the United States, with travel required. This position will have the responsibility to work exclusively with the Latin American and Mexico Sales Teams and/or local partners.

Duties include but are not limited to:

 * Prepare proposals and technical documents for prospective clients regarding different technologies including design, pricing, and customer specifications.
 * Daily maintenance of CRM.
 * Maintain standard pricing structure.
 * Consult with the engineering department for non-standard applications.
 * Communicate with customers both internally and externally.
 * Communicate with suppliers.
 * Optimize product lines for specific technologies in regard to both cost and technical perspectives. This includes researching new technologies and advancements and implementing them as applicable.
 * Review customer specifications.
 * Represent BPA at relevant industry trade shows.
 * Travel up to 15% may be required.
 * Perform other duties as assigned.
