## About the Role

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field or 3-4 years of hands-on IT support experience.

 - Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems.
 - Experience with Microsoft 365 applications.
 - Working knowledge of Active Directory.
 - Basic understanding of TCP/IP networking.
 - Experience supporting PC hardware, printers, and common office software.
 - Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and customer service skills.
 - Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and maintain accurate documentation.

Preferred:

 - Experience supporting a manufacturing environment.
 - CompTIA A+ Certification.

Physical Requirements

 - Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
 - Comfortable working in both office and manufacturing environments.
 - Occasional after-hours support may be required for system maintenance and updates.

## Description

Spherion Staffing is seeking a motivated IT Support Specialist for one of our manufacturing clients in Cantonment, FL. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys solving technical problems, providing exceptional customer service and supporting both office and production environments. If you're looking for a stable career with a growing company, we'd love to hear from you!, Provide technical support for hardware, software, and network-related issues.

 - Troubleshoot Windows and macOS desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and peripheral devices.
 - Install, configure, and maintain operating systems and business applications.
 - Create and manage user accounts in Active Directory and Microsoft 365.
 - Assist with employee onboarding and offboarding, including user access and permissions.
 - Track, document, and prioritize support requests through the IT ticketing system.
 - Perform preventative maintenance and ensure systems remain secure, updated, and backed up.
 - Support IT security initiatives and assist with disaster recovery processes.
 - Escalate complex technical issues when needed while providing excellent customer service.
