Requires discretion in determining and referencing such established criteria to define consequences and develop alternatives. * Human Interaction: Requires the ability to persuade, convince, influence, train and monitor other computer users, in favor of a desired outcome. Requires the ability to act as a lead person. * Equipment, Machinery, Tools and Materials Use: Requires the ability to operate, calibrate, tune and synchronize, and perform complex rapid adjustment on equipment, machinery and tools such as personal computers, modems and/or related materials used in performing essential functions. * Verbal Aptitude: Requires the ability to utilize a variety of reference, descriptive and advisory data and information such as specifications, computer documentation, technical operating manuals, procedures, guidelines and non-routine correspondence. * Mathematical Aptitude: Requires the ability to perform addition, subtraction, multiplication and division; calculate percentages, fractions and decimals; perform mathematical operations involving basic algebra. * Functional Reasoning: Requires the ability to apply principles of influence systems such as leading, teaching, planning, coordinating and controlling. Other Requirements: * A ten year background investigation will be conducted in accordance with FAA regulations for positions at St. Louis Lambert International Airport. Qualifications A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or a related field; plus three years of experience in network security applications programming. OR an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Preferences: Experience with Palo Alto, Aruba and Cisco. Scoring Components and Their Weights Experience and Training: 100% ## Description (Employees assigned to St. Louis Lambert International Airport may be eligible for a commuting allowance of $180.00 bi-weekly.), Incumbents in this position are responsible for complex programming and installing duties/projects and instructing and monitoring other programmers.
