## About the Role

* Working knowledge (Architecture and Operations) of technologies such as Mainframe, Cloud Hosting using VMware stack, Storage, Backup, Autosys, and Network firewalls
 * Experience with multiple vendor solutions from vendors that include Cisco, Broadcom, Checkpoint, and VMware
 * Experience with technical recovery and/or technical Business Continuity Planning
 * Strong analytical skills and logical thinking
 * Attentive to details
 * Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
 * Ability to collaborate and build partnerships across different teams
 * Ability to work under pressure and meet competing requirements
 * Prior experience in conducting technology assessments
 * Prior experience working on audit and regulatory issues
 * Proficiency with Microsoft Office
 * Must be able to work a hybrid schedule with a minimum of 3 days per week onsite

## Description

Genesis10 is currently seeking an IT Security Specialist for a hybrid contract position with a Global Financial Institution located in Chandler, AZ. This is a 10+ month contract opportunity.
This role focuses on ensuring the resilience and restorability of enterprise critical infrastructure. The ideal candidate will conduct comprehensive reviews of restoral plans and test documents, collaborating with subject matter experts to identify and address potential gaps in technical recovery and business continuity strategies.
Responsibilities:

 * Lead reviews with SMEs to understand the high-level overview of the Enterprise Critical Infrastructure (ECI)
 * Obtain relevant information required to determine the comprehensiveness of restoral plans, test plans, and test execution documents
 * Highlight potential gaps to effectively restore critical services
 * Review developed ECI plans with SMEs and team members to ensure completeness, accuracy, and readiness for testing
