## About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Java Developer with strong Banking / Financial Services domain experience to design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise-scale applications.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, REST APIs, SQL, and enterprise application development, along with experience working in a fast-paced Agile environment.

Banking or Financial Services experience is mandatory., * 5+ years of professional Java development experience

 * Strong hands-on experience with Java 8/11/17+
 * Spring Framework / Spring Boot
 * Microservices architecture
 * RESTful APIs and web services
 * Strong knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming
 * Java design patterns
 * Strong SQL experience
 * Experience with Oracle, PostgreSQL, or similar relational databases
 * Experience with Git or other source-control systems
 * Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps
 * Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
 * Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments

Banking / Financial Services Experience - Mandatory

Candidates must have professional experience working in the Banking or Financial Services industry.

Relevant experience may include:

 * Retail Banking
 * Commercial Banking
 * Investment Banking
 * Digital Banking

 * Credit / Lending

## Description

* Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise Java applications.
 * Develop scalable backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
 * Design and implement RESTful APIs and Microservices.
 * Participate in application design, development, testing, and deployment.
 * Translate business requirements into technical solutions.
 * Develop clean, maintainable, and reusable code.
 * Perform unit testing, debugging, and troubleshooting.
 * Participate in code reviews and follow established development standards.
 * Troubleshoot application and production issues and provide timely resolutions.
 * Collaborate with Business Analysts, Architects, QA Engineers, DevOps teams, and other developers.
 * Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, sprint planning, and daily stand-ups.
 * Support application deployments and production releases.
 * Contribute to application modernization and performance improvements.
 * Ensure applications meet enterprise security and compliance standards.
