## About the Role

* Abgeschlossene technische Ausbildung (HTL/FH/Universität) im Bereich Informatik, IT-Systemtechnik oder vergleichbare Qualifikation.
 * Mehrjährige Erfahrung im Betrieb und in der Administration von Datenbanksystemen, idealerweise PostgreSQL und/oder Oracle Database.

 * Solides Verständnis von Backup-/Recovery-Strategien, Performance-Tuning, Hochverfügbarkeit und Security-Konzepten.
 * Grundkenntnisse in Linux-Systemen sowie Automatisierungs- oder Scripting-Erfahrung (z. B. Bash, SQL, Python) von Vorteil.
 * Analytische, strukturierte Arbeitsweise und hohe Qualitäts- und Verantwortungsorientierung.
 * Gute Kommunikationsfähigkeit und Freude an der Zusammenarbeit mit Entwicklungs- und Plattform-Teams.

## Description

* Du verantwortest den stabilen, sicheren und performanten Betrieb unserer Cloud-basierten Datenbankplattformen.
 * Du betreibst und administrierst PostgreSQL- und Oracle-Datenbanken, sowohl in klassischen Setups als auch in modernen Cloud-Umgebungen.
 * Du arbeitest an modernen, Cloud-nativen Datenbankplattformen mit Fokus auf Automatisierung und Managed Services.
 * Du planst und setzt Backup-, Recovery-, Monitoring- und Security-Konzepte für Datenbanksysteme um.
 * Du analysierst Performance-, Verfügbarkeits- und Kapazitätsanforderungen und leitest Optimierungsmaßnahmen ab.
 * Du unterstützt Entwicklerteams frühzeitig bei Architektur- und Datenbank-Entscheidungen.
 * Du wirkst bei Datenbank-Rollouts, Cloud-Migrationen und Proof-of-Concepts aktiv mit.
 * Du dokumentierst Betriebs- und Architekturstandards und entwickelst diese kontinuierlich weiter.
