## About the Role

* 3+ years of experience in building automation, HVAC controls, application engineering, or a related field.
 * Strong understanding of commercial HVAC systems and building automation controls.
 * Ability to read mechanical and electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and specifications.
 * Experience with Microsoft Office and controls design or estimating software.
 * Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
 * Experience with BACnet, Niagara, Honeywell, Johnson Controls, Siemens, Distech, Tridium, or similar platforms is preferred.
 * Engineering degree or related technical education is a plus.

## Description

* Design building automation and HVAC controls systems from project plans and specifications.
 * Develop controls submittals, bills of material, programming requirements, and system layouts.
 * Program DDC controllers and building automation systems for new construction and retrofit projects.
 * Create building automation network architectures using industry-standard communication protocols.
 * Review project documentation and participate in project turnover meetings.
 * Generate startup and commissioning documentation for field teams.
 * Provide technical support to internal teams and customers.
 * Perform occasional job site visits to support project execution and commissioning.
