This role is well suited for an early-career developer who enjoys solving technical problems, working across different technologies, and building a strong foundation in software engineering and database management., * Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent professional experience. * 1-2 years of experience in software development or a related engineering role. * Hands-on software development experience with Python or another general-purpose programming language. * Understanding of software development fundamentals, including coding, debugging, testing, and troubleshooting. * Experience working with databases and understanding of core database concepts. * Familiarity with one or more database technologies such as PostgreSQL, Couchbase, Cassandra, or Yugabyte. * Basic understanding of database administration, queries, performance, and data management. * Working knowledge of Linux and common command-line operations. * Understanding of cloud computing concepts and familiarity with AWS and/or Google Cloud. * Ability to investigate technical issues and develop effective solutions. * Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills., * Experience working with multiple database technologies. * Familiarity with JavaScript and Node.js. * Experience supporting database operations in development or production environments. * Knowledge of database performance tuning, replication, backup, recovery, and availability concepts. * Experience working with AWS and Google Cloud services. * Familiarity with distributed database architectures. * Experience developing automation scripts for software or database operations. * Exposure to AI/ML concepts and technologies. * Understanding of Agile development practices and collaborative engineering workflows. ## Description The Opportunity: We are looking for a Junior Software Developer to contribute to application development, backend engineering, database operations, and cloud-based environments.
