## About the Role

* Bachelor's degree in a related field and a minimum of 12 years experience. Equivalency substitutions to be reviewed for client approval:
 * Master's degree and 9 years experience
 * Associate's degree and 14 years experience
 * Ability to travel to meetings at FAA or vendor facilities around the U.S if required by the role.
 * Experience supporting federal government programs within the FAA.
 * U.S. Citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident with a minimum of three (3) years of U.S. residency.
 * Ability to obtain and maintain an FAA Public Trust

Desired Qualifications

 * Ability to work independently and/or in collaborative team environments to complete assigned tasks within expected schedule to complete
 * Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple systems, priorities, and compliance activities simultaneously.
 * Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to develop and review formal security documentation.
 * Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

This role is for a Security Engineer, who will support the team by:

 * Review and/or update System Characterization Documents, Sestm Security Plans, Privacy Threshold Assessments, System AuthorizationBriefings and other security related documents in support of the Information Security Continuopus Monitoring process;
 * Manage the working list of approved software applications and work with the ESP and IESP SLE to update the Technology Product Roadmap.
