## About the Role

* A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Architecture, or a related field, from four-year college or university (preferred).
 * Certification as an EI/EIT required.
 * Consulting engineering experience with 5+ years of telecommunication systems design experience.
 * Knowledgeable in industry standards including TIA/EIA, BICSI and IEEE.
 * Must be available to travel occasionally.
 * Requires the ability to pass background checks, security screenings or drug testing as required by our clients and/or Federal contracts.
 * Must be authorized to work in the United States., * BICSI Certified Installer
 * BICSI RCDD
 * BICSI DCDC

## Description

* Design telecommunications cable infrastructure to support IP based connections including Voice, Data, Wi-Fi, Audio Visual, CCTV, Access Control, and Intrusion Detection. This includes detailed internal building layouts, as well as exterior campus connectivity.
 * Design electronic security systems including Video Surveillance and Analytics, Access Control, and Intrusion Detection.
 * Design specifications, configuration, and commissioning of large scale local, integrated, and network-based systems.
 * Regularly interact with clients, engineers, and architects, as well as construction teams to proactively solve problems.
 * Provide construction oversite, including specification and contract drawing compliance, conduct site visits and formulate construction observation reports.
