## About the Role

* Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 4-6 years relevant experience in the semiconductor industry; at least the last 2 years in a people management capacity.
 * Excellent written/verbal communication.
 * Fluent in English.
 * Strong presentation skills.
 * Teamwork skills.
 * Capable of structured problem solving (preferably using 8D methodology).
 * Ability to establish successful relationships in a multicultural environment with external and internal customers.
 * Service orientated.
 * Ability to work in a matrix environment.
 * Willing to travel both domestically and internationally as required.
 * Role is onsite flex.

## Description

Oversee the technical support of company customers by field engineers, technicians, and support specialists, who are diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing one or more of the following: complex electro/mechanical equipment, sophisticated computer systems, software systems/applications, or networking and wireless networking systems., * Supervise engineers that respond to situations where standard procedures have failed to isolate or fix problems in non-functioning equipment systems or software.

 * Establish and maintain lines of communication with design engineering and software development on design, reliability, and maintenance issues.
 * Ensure that engineers are current with the latest upgrades and/or new releases.
 * May be involved in customer installation and training programs.
 * Select, develop, and evaluate personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the team.
 * Direct and supervise the day-to-day work of your direct reports.
 * Responsible for the annual Performance Management & Development exercise of your direct reports.
 * Develop and mentor high-potential personnel to continuously build a stronger team as well as provide opportunities for qualified internal personnel.
