## About the Role

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field.
 * Proven experience as a Cyber Security Specialist or similar role.
 * Strong knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and endpoint security.
 * Experience with security tools such as SIEM, antivirus, vulnerability scanners, and penetration testing tools.
 * Familiarity with regulatory requirements and standards such as NIST, ISO 27001, HIPAA, or PCI-DSS.
 * Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ are a plus.
 * Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
 * Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

## Description

* Monitor and analyze security alerts and events to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities.
 * Implement and maintain security measures, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and endpoint protection.
 * Conduct regular security assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration tests.
 * Develop and enforce security policies, procedures, and best practices.
 * Respond to security incidents and coordinate incident response activities.
 * Collaborate with IT and other departments to ensure secure system configurations and network architecture.
 * Stay current with the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and technology solutions.
 * Provide training and awareness programs to employees on cybersecurity best practices.
