Preferred Qualifications: * CBAP, PMI-PBA, INCOSE, Lean Six Sigma, Agile, or comparable professional certification. * Experience supporting federal readiness, mobilization, workforce operations, emergency management, continuity, or mission-support programs. * Experience with discrete-event simulation, operations research, scenario modeling, or analytical model validation. * Experience designing tabletop exercises, operational stress tests, demonstrations, or after-action reviews. * Familiarity with requirements traceability matrices (RTM), formal verification and validation methodologies, and systems engineering practices. * Experience supporting government stakeholders in complex, mission-critical environments. * Security Requirement: Ability to obtain and maintain client-required suitability clearance or Public Trust determination. * Location Requirement: Candidates must be able to support periodic onsite workshops and meetings in Virginia. ## Description Apogee is seeking an experienced Senior Operational Readiness & Requirements Lead to support the development of a federal operational-readiness simulation and decision-support solution. This role will lead requirements discovery, operational workflow validation, scenario development, assumption management, and stakeholder coordination to ensure the simulation accurately reflects real-world mission processes and operational environments. The successful candidate will serve as the critical connection between federal operational stakeholders, subject-matter experts, and technical simulation-development teams. The individual will translate complex operational requirements into actionable models by capturing processes, constraints, staffing considerations, decision points, exceptions, and mission scenarios.
