U.S. citizenship is required to obtain a security clearance. In addition to the above, the Engineering Specialist-Modeling & Simulation Engineering requires: * 8 years of increasingly responsible engineering experience. * Demonstrated technical leadership, personal accountability, and adaptability to changing customer expectations. * Ability to independently develop and strengthen relationships with program offices and customers to maintain continuous tasking. * Experience leading large multi-disciplinary teams in conducting specialized technical analysis tasks as part of larger project efforts., * A graduate degree in the fields of study mentioned above. * Significant, firsthand work history in one or more of the functional/mission areas listed above. * Academic background in systems engineering, modeling & simulation, or communication architectures. * Knowledge of Intelligence Community or U.S. Department of Defense business practices, acquisition policies, or space mission portfolios. * Current TS/SCI access with a polygraph. ## Description The Aerospace Corporation is the trusted partner to the nation's space programs, solving the hardest problems and providing unmatched technical expertise. We are looking for a Space Architecture Performance Analyst (Senior Member of Technical Staff/Engineering Specialist - Modeling & Simulation Engineering) that will make use of sophisticated simulation tools in support of requirements verification, analyses-of-alternatives (AoA), and performance modeling for space-based remote sensing and communications architectures. Work Model: This is a full time position which requires 100% onsite work in any one of the following locations: El Segundo, CA; Chantilly, VA; or Colorado Springs, CO.
