## About the Role

* Must maintain a current Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert and
 * Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate certification and
 * At least five (5) years of experience working with the Microsoft computing environment

Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:

 * High level of familiarity with Microsoft Domain Administration, Active Directory, domain controllers, Domain Names Services (DNS); familiarity with basic network technologies and capable of troubleshooting minor network connectivity issues such as network interface card (NIC), cabling, TCP/IP configuration issues; basic messaging system administration (e-mail); PC and server hardware familiarity including the ability to troubleshoot and resolve system issues using configuration analysis and subsystem (hard drive, memory, monitors, and power supplies) repair/replacement procedures; respond to trouble tickets from the Service Desk automated trouble ticketing system; perform hardware and software System, including patches, upgrades, service packs, and hotfixes to ensure system availability, reliability, and serviceability., * Microsoft computing environment: 5 years (Required)

## Description

The Systems Engineer shall be responsible for resolving incidents escalating to or originating at the Systems Engineer level., * Responsible for administration of the Microsoft computing environment to include but not limited to:

 * Microsoft Domain Administration
 * Active Directory
 * domain controllers
 * Domain Names Services (DNS)
 * Troubleshooting minor network connectivity issues such as network interface card (NIC), cabling, TCP/IP configuration issues
 * Basic messaging system administration (e-mail)
 * PC and server hardware familiarity including the ability to troubleshoot and resolve system issues using configuration analysis and subsystem (hard drive, memory, monitors, and power supplies) repair/replacement procedures
 * Responding to trouble tickets from the Service Desk automated trouble ticketing system
 * Performing hardware and software System, including patches, upgrades, service packs, and hotfixes to ensure system availability, reliability, and serviceability.
 * Persons in this position will also be responsible for backup and recovery functions., Job is performed in an office setting with exposure to computer screens and requires extensive use of a computer, keyboard, mouse and multi-line telephone system.
