Desired: * Recognition as a Fellow or senior member of a relevant scientific or engineer. ## Description CACI is seeking a Principal Infrared Sensor Technology Subject Matter Expert to provide senior-level scientific, engineering, and technical advisory support to a government customer. The successful candidate will support multiple advanced sensor, research and development, acquisition, and technology-integration projects involving infrared detection, imaging, focal plane arrays, and related electro-optical technologies. The Principal Subject Matter Expert will serve as a trusted technical advisor to government program leaders, project managers, engineers, scientists, and acquisition professionals. Evaluate emerging technologies, assess technical approaches and contractor performance, identify technology risks and opportunities, and recommend strategies for advancing sensor technologies from research and development through testing, manufacturing, integration, and operational deployment.
