This role is ideal for an experienced engineering leader who started their career as a hands-on backend engineer and enjoys solving large-scale platform challenges, developing engineering talent, and improving the software development lifecycle across an organization. Required Skills & Experience

 * 10+ years of software engineering experience.
 * 2+ years of engineering leadership experience.
 * Strong background in backend systems and distributed applications.
 * Experience working within cloud-native environments.
 * Experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration platforms.
 * Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automated software delivery.
 * Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools and practices.
 * Proven ability to lead cross-functional technical initiatives.
 * Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Desired Skills & Experience

 * Experience leading platform engineering, developer productivity, or internal tooling teams.
 * Experience building self-service developer platforms.
 * Familiarity with software delivery metrics and engineering efficiency programs.
 * Understanding of observability, monitoring, and reliability engineering concepts.
 * Experience leveraging AI or automation to improve engineering workflows.
 * Experience operating within a modern SaaS or marketplace environment., Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the US on a full-time basis now and in the future.

* Lead and grow a team responsible for platform engineering and developer productivity.
 * Improve build, deployment, and release processes across multiple engineering teams.
 * Develop internal platforms that enable faster and more reliable software delivery.
 * Drive adoption of engineering best practices across CI/CD, observability, testing, and infrastructure automation.
 * Partner with application engineering teams to identify bottlenecks and streamline workflows.
 * Evaluate modern AI-powered development tools and automation opportunities.
 * Influence technical strategy and engineering standards across the organization.
