## About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Virtulaziation Engineer for our customer in Montgomery, Al., * Expert Linux skills

 * Strong background and experience with VMWare
 * Strong knowledge of container platforms (Kubernetes)
 * Working knowledge of networking
 * Working knowledge of storage
 * Experience with at least one public cloud provider preferred
 * 70% Travel, all travel-related costs covered by customer outside of the standard site., * Virtualization engineer: 5 years (Preferred)

## Description

The Deployment Engineer will be responsible for the start-up and integration of proprietary and 3rd party products and services at classified datacenter environments. The ideal candidate will have a broad range of experience with industry-standard virtualization tools for compute, networking, and storage. The candidate must have an expert understanding of Linux, a strong background with virtualization, knowledge of datacenter networking, and knowledge of datacenter storage. Experience with start-up and integration tasks in a classified environment is required. The candidate should have experience building infrastructure including OS Image lifecycle, STIG processes, and troubleshooting and debugging issues., * Install, patch, and configure software and virtualization products on top of customers hardware.

 * Integrate identity and security across multi-vendor products.
 * Plan for and execute adding new tools to the private cloud environment as needed for adding capabilities.
 * Remediate security vulnerabilities.
