## Description

Gould Medical Group is seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Psychiatrist to serve as Medical Director for our Partial Hospitalization/Intensive Outpatient Program for behavior health. The Medical Director provides clinical leadership, medical oversight, and direct psychiatric care to ensure safe, effective, and compliant treatment delivery., * Starting base salary: $340,000

 * 8 FTE clinical psychiatry and 0.2 FTE administrative
 * Sign-on bonus
 * Two-year salary guarantee
 * RVU based compensation model starting in year 2
 * RVU bonus potential during guarantee
 * Residency stipend available
 * Provide physician leadership and oversight of all PHP/IOP clinical services and behavioral health department services
 * Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to support coordinated care
 * Participate in call coverage rotation responsibilities consistent with Behavioral Health department needs
 * Ensure therapeutic approaches align with program goals and evidence-based practices
 * Conduct psychiatric evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide medication management
 * Supervise and collaborate with Advanced Practice Providers and multidisciplinary team members
 * Support staff with clinical questions, case discussions, and treatment planning
 * Ensure compliance with state, federal, and accreditation standards
 * Participate in case conferences, treatment team meetings, and quality-improvement initiatives and program development activities
 * Oversee appropriate patient flow and adherence to safety and documentation standards
 * Maintain accurate, timely documentation within the electronic health record system (Epic)
 * Collaborate with physicians, therapists, program managers and other behavioral health professionals to ensure high-quality, evidence-based care
 * Promote a patient-centered, recovery-oriented model of care
 * Behavioral Health department consists of Psychiatrists, Psychologists, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists, Licensed Clinical Social Workers, and Advanced Practice Clinicians
 * Low paperwork demands
