## About the Role

Basic Qualifications for an Associate Software Engineer:

 * Be completing or has completed their Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
 * Be majoring in or having majored in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related STEM degree
 * Be able to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite)
 * The ability to obtain Special Access Program within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business needs, * Be completing or has completed their Master's degree from an accredited institution
 * Be majoring in or having majored in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related STEM degree
 * Be able to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite)
 * The ability to obtain Special Access Program within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business needs

Preferred Qualifications for both levels:

 * Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.00/4.0 or higher
 * Experience with languages such as Python, MATLAB, C++, ADA, or JAVA
 * Experience working with Object Oriented Design, SOLID design principles, or software design patterns

## Description

The selected Engineer will support the Ground Weapons System (GWS) program as an individual contributor responsible for providing technical contributions and guidance to software products that directly support the design and development of the GWS capability on behalf of the Missile Defense Agency (MDA).
