## About the Role

We are seeking an Application Support Analyst (3 4 years experience) to join the Operations team. The role focuses on production support, ticket triage, and data fix execution, requiring strong analytical and SQL skills along with basic Java code reading ability.
The candidate will be responsible for analyzing issues across the application stack, performing data corrections, monitoring batch jobs, and ensuring SLA-driven resolution. This role is not focused on feature development, but candidates must be able to read and analyze code to understand business logic and resolve issues quickly., Programming

## Description

Ticket Lifecycle Management

 * Manage intake, triage, and resolution of production tickets in Jira / VersionOne
 * Classify, prioritize, and update tickets per SLA and business impact

Data Fix Execution

 * Analyze data issues and prepare SQL-based data correction scripts (PostgreSQL)
 * Perform peer review and QA validation before applying fixes
 * Ensure proper documentation and audit trail for every fix

Root Cause Analysis (RCA)

 * Perform detailed technical investigations on production issues
 * Identify root cause and recommend Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA)

SLA & Process Governance

 * Ensure adherence to SLAs, ITIL change management, and triage workflows
 * Follow RACI model for ownership and responsibilities

System Monitoring

 * Use Splunk and New Relic to monitor logs, alerts, and performance
 * Detect anomalies, drifts, and recurring patterns proactively

Batch Processing Support

 * Monitor and validate batch jobs scheduled via Control-M
 * Troubleshoot batch failures and data inconsistencies

Documentation & Knowledge Sharing

 * Maintain and update SOPs and Knowledge **** (KB) articles
 * Document recurring issues and resolution patterns

Cross-Functional Collaboration

 * Work with Development, QA, Batch, and Infrastructure teams
 * Support release validation and operational readiness
