Working knowledge of Microsoft Fabric and Power BI semantic modeling (dimensional design, DAX measures). Linux/Bash skills. API/application integrations experience (REST/JSON, OAuth2/Keys, Odata). Version control with Git and collaborative workflows (PR's, code reviews, etc). Strong communication, documentation, and stakeholder partnership skills. Experience Level Intermediate Level ## Description The Data Engineer at Structural and Rail division will own and evolve our modern data stack, moving data from diverse sources into trusted, analytics-ready models that power decision making across the business. You'll design and operate pipelines, shape semantic models in Power BI / Fabric, optimize and manage our Azure Stack. This role will also involve optimizing our ERP data structures and ETL services. Skills Azure, Etl, Python, Sql, Data, Data warehouse Additional Skills & Qualifications Design, build, and maintain ETL pipelines, currently with SSIS. Design and implement Azure data assets. Build and maintain Power BI semantic models, optimizing for refresh and query performance. Leverage Microsoft Fabric for end-to-end analytics workflows, governance, and distribution. Manage integrations with external APIs/Applications such as Power BI, Azure DevOps, SalesForce CRM, Princeton TMX. Administer and optimize On-Prem SQL, Oracle, Azure SQL objects, ensuring data quality and reliability. Partner with end users and business stakeholders to gather requirements, perform testing and QA, and ensure smooth handoff of deliverables. Monitor, troubleshoot, and continuously improve pipeline reliability, cost, and performance.
