Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: * In-depth understanding of dental radiology principles, including image acquisition techniques, radiation safety protocols, and radiographic anatomy. * Ability to educate and mentor students, residents, and faculty in radiographic techniques and best practices and adapt teaching methods to various learning styles. * Strong verbal and written communication skills for instruction, collaboration, and documentation of procedures and policies. * Proficiency in performing and teaching intraoral, panoramic, and Cone Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT) imaging. ## Description Job Title: Diagnostic Procedures Technology Supervisor (Diagnostic Procedures Technology IV), The School of Dental Medicine is seeking a full-time Diagnostic Procedures Technology Supervisor to support the teaching and patient care missions of the Radiology unit within the Department of Diagnostic Sciences & Surgical Dentistry. This position combines formal supervision of five Diagnostic Procedures Technology employees with hands-on dental imaging, clinical and didactic instruction, and oversight of daily Oral Radiology operations. The supervisor works closely with the Oral and Maxillofacial Radiologist and supports DDS, ISP, graduate students, residents, faculty, staff, and patients across multiple clinics.
