## About the Role

Do you have experience in WAN?, We are seeking a senior-level Network & Telecommunications Subject Matter Expert (SME) with deep experience supporting large-scale federal enterprise or global network operations environments, ideally within the Department of State, DoD, IC, DHS, or other highly secure federal agencies.
Preferred Experience:

 * 10+ years supporting enterprise network and telecommunications operations
 * Experience supporting global or geographically dispersed networks
 * Prior experience on Department of State programs strongly preferred
 * Experience supporting secure mission-critical environments with high availability requirements
 * Experience with network operations centers (NOC), telecom operations, or enterprise infrastructure operations
 * Experience supporting network modernization, infrastructure refresh, or operational transformation initiatives
 * Familiarity with federal cybersecurity and network security frameworks
 * Experience working within large federal IDIQ/task order environments

Technical Background Areas of Interest:

 * Enterprise WAN/LAN operations
 * SD-WAN and network modernization
 * Cisco-based enterprise networking environments
 * Telecommunications and unified communications
 * Secure remote connectivity/VPN infrastructure
 * Network monitoring and performance management tools
 * Network resilience, redundancy, and continuity planning
 * Cloud-connected network infrastructure
 * Zero Trust/network segmentation concepts
 * Operational support for classified and unclassified environments
 * Network security operations integration

Preferred Certifications (one or more preferred):

 * CCNP / CCIE
 * CISSP
 * Security+
 * ITIL
 * AWS/Azure networking certifications
 * PMP (nice to have)

Additional Qualities:

 * Strong communication and client-facing skills
 * Ability to participate in technical strategy discussions with teaming partners
 * Experience contributing to proposal solutioning, technical volumes, or capture efforts is a plus
 * Ability to articulate past performance and operational best practices in meetings with partners/customers

Security Clearance:

 * Active Secret clearance preferred
 * Top Secret clearance highly desirable
