Dean, Inc. - **Location:** Boulder, CO, United States - **Salary:** $94,400.0 - **Contract:** Permanent contract - **Skills:** Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Windows, Computer Programming, Firmware, Issue Tracking Systems, Microsoft Visio, Routing, Microsoft PowerPoint, Expertise in Genetec Systems, System Programming, Virtual Local Area Networks, Software Vulnerability Management, Lenel, Information Technology - **Published:** August 1, 2026 - **Apply:** https://diversityjobs.com/main/sendform/8/8/28176/1/17771284?backUrl=%2Fcareer%2F17771284%2FPhysical-Security-System-Administrator-1-Colorado-Boulder ## About the Role * BS degree and 0+ Years of progressive experience orHS Diploma or Equivalent and 6+ Years of progressive experience * Requires some system administrator experience in performing triage on system problems, resolving system problems, analyzing system data to prevent problems, implementing new workstations, and system extensions. * Demonstrated understanding of Windows patching and vulnerability remediation. * Basic knowledge of large-scale networking, VLANS and routing. * Requires reliable attendance at customer site during work hours required by customer. * Requires the ability to work flexible shifts that include nights, weekends, holidays and on-call as needed. * Requires minimum of IAT Level II certification (e.g., Security+). * Demonstrated background working with multidisciplinary teams. * Demonstrated time management and organization skills to meet deadlines and quality objectives. * Able to use MS Excel, Word, Visio, and PowerPoint ## Description What you'll do: In this role you will be working as part of a team to monitor, maintain, and test Physical Access Control, CCTV, PSIM and other electronic security systems and support implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of Information Technology (IT) systems in support of the endpoint devices.The position provides Tier 1 helpdesk support., * Provide assistance to end users in accessing and using client Physical Security systems (CCURE, Lenel, Genetec, etc.) * Process break/fix requests remotely for physical security systems such as ACc * Utilize technology-based problem tracking system (i.e., ticketing system) to document helpdesk phone calls; document troubleshooting steps prior to completing ticket and or escalating to next level of support. * Support daily operations to include monitoring and reviewing system logs. * Performs root cause analysis on significant issues at appropriate level of support. * Implementation and maintenance of updates and enhancements of Security Video Management System, Security Key Management System, Security Access Control System Inventory Management System, Visitor Management System and other systems * Programming of software for new and existing Physical Security Systems * Updating Security System configurations as required by project * Deployment of firmware and software updates to the Security Systems as required by project * Updates of the System Programming Standards (Naming Convention, Configurations, etc.) as required by project;
