Position Overview We are seeking an experienced AEM Solutions Architect to lead and evolve our Adobe Experience Manager platform. The ideal candidate will provide hands-on technical leadership and define long-term platform architecture, ensuring solutions are scalable, secure, accessible, high-performing, and maintainable. Key Responsibilities * Own and evolve the overall AEM solution architecture, including authoring, publishing, Dispatcher/CDN, and content delivery layers. * Lead migration initiatives to AEM as a Cloud Service (AEMaaCS), including Oak indexing, repository/package structure, content compatibility, custom workflows, and Cloud Manager CI/CD pipelines. * Define component and template architecture for SPA-based implementations with reusable, authorable patterns. * Architect search and content discovery solutions using Elasticsearch/AEM Search, including indexing, relevancy, faceting, and performance. * Design personalization, targeting, permissioning, and audience segmentation models. * Define integration architecture for SSO/authentication, user synchronization, database-backed services, and analytics. * Establish engineering standards covering coding practices, code reviews, performance, accessibility, and security. * Collaborate with Product, Design, QA, and DevOps teams to translate business roadmaps into technical designs and delivery plans. * Lead technical discovery, POCs, spikes, and architectural decision-making. * Mentor developers and QA engineers and promote engineering best practices. * Drive observability, resilience, performance, and cost optimization across AEM and cloud infrastructure. Required Qualifications * 8+ years of experience in enterprise web development. * 5+ years of experience architecting Adobe Experience Manager solutions, including AEM 6.5 and AEM as a Cloud Service. * Strong expertise in: * AEM * Sling * OSGi * JCR/Oak * HTL/Sightly * Core Components * Editable Templates * Content Fragments * Dispatcher * Proven experience with SPA-based AEM implementations, including SPA Editor with React or equivalent. * Strong experience with headless/hybrid content delivery. * Hands-on experience migrating applications to AEMaaCS, including Cloud Manager pipelines, Oak indexing, and repository/content modernization. * Strong Java and front-end development knowledge, including: * JavaScript / TypeScript * HTML * CSS * Experience with*REST APIs and microservice integration patterns. * Experience with Elasticsearch or AEM Search, personalization/targeting, and access-control models. * Strong knowledge of CI/CD, Git, automated testing, performance tuning, and WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility. * Excellent communication skills with the ability to present architecture to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
