This role ensures the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of IT systems and will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable and secure technology services. Your combination of people skills and system administrator expertise makes you the team hero, solving one problem after another. What You'll Work On: * Administer, monitor, and maintain servers, virtualization platforms, storage systems, and enterprise applications. * Configure, support, and optimize Windows and Linux operating environments. * Manage virtualization environments such as VMware vSphere, including ESXi hosts and v Center . * Oversee network services, including DNS, DHCP, IP address management, and basic routing and subnetting functions. * Perform hardware installation, "rack and stack", troubleshooting, and component replacement. * Install, mount, and maintain servers, switches, and storage arrays, including performing hardware RAID configuration and overseeing hands-on data center server management. * Implement backup, disa ster recovery, and system continuity plans. * Ensure systems adhere to security, compliance, and organizational standards. * Troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues and provide root-cause analysis. * Support onboarding of new hardware, virtual machines, and applications. * Maintain documentation for systems, processes, and configurations. * Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to support new technologies and proof-of-concept efforts. Your system administrator expertise will be vital as you identify problem areas and opportunities for improvement in a mission-critical network.
