## About the Role

* Configure PolicyCenter data models, product models, screen layouts (PCF files), underwriting rules, and rating logic.
 * Write clean, efficient business logic, enhancements, and scripts using Guidewire's Gosu language and Java.
 * Build and maintain integrations between PolicyCenter and external or internal third-party systems using web services, APIs, and messaging frameworks.
 * Perform thorough unit testing, troubleshoot defects, and resolve configuration or integration issues across dev, QA, and production environments.
 * Work alongside Business Analysts, Enterprise Architects, and QA teams in an Agile/Scrum delivery environment to refine technical requirements.
 * 7+ years of hands-on technical experience with Guidewire PolicyCenter configuration or integration.
 * Strong proficiency in Gosu, Java/J2EE, XML, JSON, and SQL/PL-SQL database queries.
 * Solid understanding of Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance operations, policy lifecycles, and rating/quoting jobs.
 * Experience with Guidewire Studio, Git/SVN version control, and build tools like Maven or Gradle.
 * Active Guidewire Developer Certificate.
