The Office of Advanced Aviation Technologies will be the designated point for activities related to the integration of advanced aviation technologies including Advance Air Mobility, Unmanned Aircraft Systems, and Supersonic aircraft in United States. The incumbent will support the new Electric Vertical Takeoff and Landing (eVTOL) Integration Pilot Program (eIPP) partnerships that will enable safe operations and increasing automation safety in the National Airspace. Specifically, this work directly supports the FAA's safety mission and statutory requirements across multiple functional areas including safety oversight, security, and FAA Reauthorization implementation activities.
