The mobile experience is becoming one of the most important ways customers interact with Fieldpiece products. As a Senior iOS / Android Engineer, you'll design, develop, and support native iOS and Android applications that connect technicians to the data, diagnostics, and insights generated by our industry-leading tools. You'll work closely with Product, UX, Cloud Engineering, and Software Engineering teams to build intuitive, high-performance mobile applications that integrate with SaaS and DaaS platforms and help shape the future of connected HVACR technology. This is a hands-on engineering role where you'll influence architecture, champion mobile development best practices, and help deliver applications that technicians depend on every day. This position is based in our Orange, CA office with an exciting move to Tustin, CA in 2028. We offer a hybrid work schedule with employees typically working onsite three days per week. Additional onsite days may be required for team collaboration, planning sessions, or other business needs. Travel is expected to be up to 10%. What You'll Do * Design, develop, and maintain native iOS and Android applications using Swift, Objective-C, Kotlin, and Java. * Support the full application lifecycle, including design, development, testing, deployment, monitoring, and ongoing enhancements. * Build secure, high-performance mobile applications that integrate with cloud-based SaaS and DaaS platforms through RESTful APIs. * Optimize application performance, reliability, responsiveness, and maintainability across supported devices and operating systems. * Troubleshoot complex technical issues and contribute to high-quality, well-tested code with minimal technical debt. * Collaborate with Product Management, UX/UI, Cloud Engineering, and Software Engineering teams to deliver intuitive customer experiences. * Champion mobile engineering best practices while contributing to architecture, code quality, Agile delivery, and continuous improvement.
