## About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design and enhance node-connectivity capabilities for networked and embedded products. This role is ideal for a hands-on engineer with strong C/C++ development, Linux, and networking experience who enjoys solving complex system-level problems., * 10+ years of professional software engineering experience.

 * 5+ years of hands-on C and C++ production development experience.
 * Strong experience working with Linux and/or embedded software environments.
 * Solid networking knowledge, including LANs, routing, switching, and wireless networking.
 * Experience debugging distributed, networked, or embedded systems.
 * Strong communication, technical documentation, and collaboration skills.
 * U.S. citizenship is required for this position.

## Description

* Design, develop, and maintain node-connectivity software and supporting services.
 * Improve connectivity, stability, scalability, and performance across existing product components.
 * Collaborate with software, hardware, networking, and QA teams throughout the development lifecycle.
 * Investigate and resolve complex production, integration, and system-level issues.
 * Evaluate component performance and recommend technical improvements.
 * Build reusable, maintainable code using sound software-design principles.
 * Review code, mentor junior engineers, and help establish engineering best practices.
