The specialist will create multimedia content, manage websites and social media platforms, engage online audiences, analyze performance data, and ensure all communications comply with Department of Defense and Navy policies., * Develop and implement a comprehensive digital media strategy aligned with COMNAVSURFGRU MIDPAC objectives and Navy communication guidelines. * Collaborate with Commander, Naval Surface Force Pacific and other stakeholders on communication priorities, branding, and messaging. * Create engaging multimedia content, including videos, graphics, articles, infographics, and social media posts. * Manage and regularly update command websites and social media accounts, including Facebook and Instagram. * Ensure website and social media content is accurate, timely, relevant, and consistent with Navy messaging standards. * Monitor social media activity and respond promptly and professionally to audience questions, comments, and interactions. * Develop audience-engagement initiatives such as polls, contests, live sessions, campaigns, and community-driven content. * Implement strategies to expand audience reach, platform visibility, participation, and retention. * Monitor website traffic, social media metrics, audience behavior, and campaign performance. * Prepare analytics reports and use performance data to improve content and engagement strategies. * Maintain consistent branding, messaging, and tone across digital communication channels. * Monitor emerging technologies, communication trends, platform changes, and industry best practices. * Ensure compliance with DoD directives, Navy public-affairs guidance, information-assurance requirements, security protocols, and confidentiality standards. * Protect sensitive information, personally identifiable information, Government data, and digital assets. * Participate in post-award conferences, progress meetings, and cross-departmental coordination meetings. * Implement quality-control procedures to verify content accuracy, compliance, timeliness, and overall performance.
